Some people describe diy as a way of getting rid of the feeling that something is wrong in their mind. That’s not it at all. It’s about getting rid of the thoughts associated with them. You don’t put on a hat and get rid of a feeling or a thought. You do the opposite. The thoughts go.

The thing that most people don’t realize is that there are two types of thoughts: conscious thoughts and unconscious thoughts. Conscious thoughts are those that you have to consciously think them. For example, if you are making a sandwich and you just heard a loud sound, you have to consciously think of the sandwich, and then you can actually eat it. Conscious thoughts are those that you consciously decide to think, or are strongly influenced by your subconscious. For example, that you are going to write an essay about your experience with your ex. You have to think about it, and then you can actually write it.

We can often forget consciously thinking about something, and then forgetting a few days later when our mind is back to normal. This is why you need to consciously think about your to-do list, and not just your list.

It’s not rocket science, just a matter of making sure you’re taking a few minutes to consciously think about your to-do list.
