I have always been a lipstick snob and I have to admit that I never really paid much attention to the other options available to me. Lip shapes can be very tricky to get a good color match because they are not as obvious as nail colors. I’ve tried almost every shade, but the only shade that works consistently for all my lips is the nude.

The reason for this is because the exact shade of lip color is determined by the size and shape of the lips, so the color that works best for one person may not be the best color for another. That’s why I’m in the process of learning to love lip colors on a more individual basis.
