So this process is where a lot of our fat gets burned at. We can understand why we should eat our carbs at night as that is when we are taking in fat from the body, but it is also why we need carbs to sleep. As the body is burning fat, it gets energy from it, so if we don’t eat carbs, we will become hypoglycemic. If we don’t eat carbs, the body won’t need to burn fat and we will get fat instead.
